What is my email username and password?
The details required to access a mailbox from software on your computer are as follows.
The username to use to access an email account is always the full email address that you are trying to access - this will be yourusername@stayfree.co.uk.
The mail server settings for incoming and outgoing mail is: mail.stayfree.co.uk
The password will be the password you selected when you created the mail box.

How can I change my password?
You will need to know your current password is order to change it.
Firstly go to http://webmail.stayfree.co.uk
Click the link under the 'log in now' button that says 'change password.'
Then you will need to type in your email address, current password, then your new password.
Please allow 5 minutes for this password changes to take place before accessing your account.

Setting up my email with Outlook
1 From the main menu, choose Tools and then E-mail Accounts .
(* If your version of Outlook has simply 'Accounts' listed (Office 2000), please follow the instructions about how to set up Outlook Express).
2 Select Add a new e-mail account and click Next .
3 Select POP3 as your server type and click Next .
4 Enter these settings into the appropriate fields in the screen shown below.
(1) Enter your name as you wish it to be viewed by the people to whom you send your email.
(2) The "E-mail Address" is in the format username@stayfree.co.uk-
Server Information:
(3) Incoming mail server (POP3) is mail.stayfree.co.uk
(4) Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is mail.stayfree.co.uk
(5) The "User Name" field should be filled with your username@stayfree.co.uk
(6) The password field should be filled with the password that you selected on signup but note that you will not be able to see it as you type (it will appear asterisked).
When you have finished entering these email settings, click on the More Settings button.
5 In the 'More Settings' menu, go to the Outgoing Server tab and ensure that My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication IS SELECTED. Then click OK and you will be returned to the previous menu. Click Next to continue.
6 Click Finish to complete setting up your mail settings.
You are now ready to send and collect your email!
Setting up my email with OutLook Express
To setup Outlook Express to work with your Stayfree email account please follow these instructions.
- Start Outlook Express and select the Tools menu. From here select 'Accounts'
- In the window that appears press the 'Add' button and then select 'Mail...'
- Enter your name as you would like it to appear to people who receive emails from you. Then click 'Next'.
- Enter the email address that you want to use and that you have setup with Stayfree. Then click 'Next'.
- Now you need to enter your incoming and outgoing servers . For the incoming server you should enter mail.stayfree.co.uk- substituting your own domain name for yourdomain.com. For the outgoing mail server you should enter mail.stayfree.co.uk as before. Then click Next.
- To finish you need to enter your username (which is your full email address - yourusername@stayfree.co.uk) and password for your mail account. You can view your username and password in eXtend. Once entered please click Next and then Finish.
- To allow you to send mail through our mail server you now need to make a small change to the properties of the account. Select 'Properties' from the 'Accounts' window.
You need to click the tick-box that says 'My server requires authentication' or 'This server requires me to log on' and then click 'OK' and 'Close':
- You can now send and receive emails !

Setting up my email with Mail for Mac OS X 10.4
On the menu bar click Mail, then Preferences, then Accounts and finally click the plus at the bottom right.
General Information
Account Type: POP or IMAP
Account Description: A personal description for your mail box
Full Name: Your Name
Email Address: The email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Click Continue
Incoming Mail Server
Incoming Mail Server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
Username : Your email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Password: mailbox password
Click Continue
Outgoing Mail Server
Outgoing Mail Server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
User Authentication - ticked
Username : Your email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Password: your mailbox password
Click Continue
Account Summary
Check your settings
Click Continue if you are happy with them.
Click Done

Setting up my email with Entourage 2004 on Mac OS X
The following will help you set up the email account with Entourage 2004
On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
Click the Mail tab, and then click New.
(If the Account Setup Assistant appears, click Configure account manually.)
On the Account type pop-up menu, click POP then click OK.
Now enter the following information:
Account name: Give your account a name: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Personal Information
Name: Your name: Your email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Receiving mail
Account ID: Your email address: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
POP server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
Password: (your email password)
Check the box "Save password in my Mac OS keychain"
Sending mail
SMTP server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
click on "Click here for advanced sending options"
Tick " SMTP server requires authentication" and check the button "Use same settings as receiving mail server "

How Do I set up a mailbox in Thunderbird?
1) Go to the 'Tools' menu, and click 'Account Settings'.
2) Click 'Add Account' - make sure ' Email account' is selected and press 'Next'.
3) Fill in your name and Email address.
4) Select POP or IMAP, your incoming mailserver will be in the format mail.example.com (replace example.com with your domain name).
5) Your incoming User Name is your email Address.
6) The name of the account is entirely up to you - click next until the account has been created.
7) Now We need to set up SMTP - click on 'Outgoing Server ( SMTP ).
8) The Server Name is the same as your incoming mailserver.
9) The username will also remain the same (your email address).
- Your mail account should now be set up correctly

How Do I Setup Mail.app to Access My Mail Box.
To setup a mail box using IMAP within mail.app on OSX please follow the instructions below.
Open Mail.app and select Preferences from the mail menu at the top of the screen. (Apple + ,)
A new window will open on the General Tab. If you select the Accounts tab and then click the '+' button on the bottom left of the window. This will load the 'Add Account' Screen.
Enter the following details:
Full Name: <Your Name>
Email Address: Your Email Address/Mail Box Name - yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Password: <Your Mail Box Password>
and then click 'Continue'
You will then be on the 'Incoming Mail Server ' screen
Account Type: IMAP
Description: Your Name - yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Incoming Mail Server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
User Name: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Password: <Your Mail Box Password>
Then click 'Continue'
You will then be on the 'Outgoing Mail Server ' screen.
Description: Your Name - yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Outgoing Mail Server : mail.stayfree.co.uk
Use only this server (Tick This Option)
Use Authentication (Tick This Option)
User Nam: yourusername@stayfree.co.uk
Password: <Your Mail Box Password>
Then click 'Continue'
You should then get an 'Account Summery' screen
Simply click 'Create' to setup the account.
You should then be returned to the accounts screen which you can then close at which point you should have the main mail screen open and you new account showing in the left hand bar.
You should now be able to send and receive email using the email address and mail box.
